Senior Python Developer

Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Python Developer with 8+ years of software development experience to design, develop, and support scalable backend applications, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise-grade APIs. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in Python development, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), microservices architecture, DevOps practices, and cloud infrastructure. This role requires strong technical leadership, problem-solving abilities, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing solutions.Required Qualifications8+ years of professional software development experience.Strong expertise in Python programming and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.Hands-on experience building and deploying applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Strong experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps methodologies.Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, storage, security, IAM, and compute services.Experience with application monitoring, logging, debugging, and performance tuning.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Preferred QualificationsExperience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django frameworks.Experience with GCP services such as Cloud Run, GKE, Compute Engine, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQL.Familiarity with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems.Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Cloud Monitoring.GCP Professional Cloud Developer or Cloud Architect certification is a plus.
