MANUFACTURING TECHNICIANAt the corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD, Automated Precision Inc. (API) is currently seeking to add to the team a motivated and skilled Electrical/Mechanical Assembly Technician.Duties and responsibilities:Electrical assembly of small high precision instrumentsAssembly Integration of Optical and Mechanical systemsHigh quality soldering of PCBDownloading Firmware and Logic into PCBsWork closely with the group on new product's assembly and calibration processesResponsible for daily production activities and work different products as requiredReport manufacturing issues to product engineers and provide feedback on proposed solutionsKnowledge, skills, abilities, and other requirements:Must have experience of- Crimping of small connectors- High quality soldering of PCB- Good quality soldering of small pin connectors- Reading Electrical drawing diagramWiring, soldering and crimping of small wires inside the instrument with limited access- Must be a detail-oriented individual with fine motor skills to handle the intricacies of the products
