Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Inpatient Rehab Nurse at St. Francis Medical Center, now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, your ultimate goal is restoring your patients' health, so they have the ability to care for themselves. Along with physicians and other members of your rehab team, you will go along on the patients' journey, providing care and education so they can resume their lives at home with their families.Carefully monitor patients for changes in neurological status or other conditionsPrepare patients for various speech, physical, occupational or respiratory therapies they have scheduled each day.Educate the patient and caregivers on how to continue certain care at home.Compensation: Base rate + shift differentialIncentives: up to $10,000 sign-on bonus, up to $10,000 education assistance (must have graduated within 5 years)Nurse Residency: offered for all New Graduates - https://www.chihealth.com/education/professional-training/nurse-residencyJob RequirementsGraduate of an accredited nursing programActive RN license in the state of Nebraska or nurse licensure compact.Basic Life Support(BLS) through American Heart AssociationWhere You'll WorkLocated on the sixth floor of St. Francis, the 13-bed inpatient rehabilitation area offers care that focuses on improving a patient's mobility and independence through physical, occupational, and speech therapies.
