Akkodis is seeking an Electronic Engineer 4 for a 6-month contract with a client in Carson, CA, 90746Title: Electrical Engineer 4/ Electronic EngineerLocation: Carson, CA, 90746 (Onsite Role) Duration: 6-month contract with possible extensionsPay Rate: $60 - 62/hr. (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)Job Summary:The Electrical Engineer 4 creates and leads the systems design of aircraft interior products such as bins, galleys, lavatories, closets and ceiling panels used in commercial and private aircrafts using a computer aided drafting system. The Electrical Engineer 4 reports to the Electrical Engineering Manager. Someone with PCB experience. PCB design, testing, supplier experience. Summary of Duties:Produce and lead the creation of innovative systems design, 3D models and 2D drawings of aircraft interior products within technical specification and project requirements.Work with project engineers and engineering management to complete engineering deliverables per project schedule and budget.Create, check and approve 3D models and 2D drawings that meet the design standards using processes and documentations.Drive design-to-cost practices into new design to meet design cost targets.Participate in the creation of Cabin standard parts and design for new product development.Lead design of 3D models and 2D drawings all the way from creation through release to ensure project schedules are met.Lead status of tasks and progress of work in Engineering task management tool.Lead design reviews which include all representative from the Integrated Project Team (IPT) to ensure inputs from all disciplines are captured in designs.Lead engineers in resolving complex technical issues.Lead work packages with the support of Electrical Engineer 1, 2 and 3.Mentor Electrical Engineers 1, 2, and 3 on engineering practices, tools and expectations.Perform all other duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related fieldExperience: Minimum 10 years related experience in aerospace or electrical engineering design.Computer Skills:Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Expert knowledge of CAD & PLM Systems.Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/DisabledBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, an EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
