Human Resources Generalist

HR Generalist –Bilingual Spanish-Manufacturing (Onsite, Rosemont, IL) We're partnering with a well-established manufacturing company in the Rosemont area looking to add a hands-on HR Generalist to their team. This is a fully onsite role supporting day-to-day HR operations, employee relations, and payroll for a growing workforce. What you'll be doing: Manage full-cycle HR support for ~150 employees across manufacturing and corporate functions Process bi-weekly payroll in Paycom, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely submission Serve as a go-to resource for employees on HR policies, benefits, and workplace questions Support employee relations, including coaching managers, handling investigations, and resolving issues Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, including new hire orientation and exit interviews Maintain and update employee records in HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance Assist with benefits administration, open enrollment, and vendor coordination Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies Partner with leadership on performance management, employee engagement, and retention initiatives Support recruiting efforts as needed, including coordinating interviews and working with hiring managers What they're looking for: 3+ years of HR Generalist experience, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial environment Hands-on payroll experience for 100+ employees (Paycom strongly preferred) Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and best practices Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations Comfortable working in a fast-paced, onsite environment with direct interaction on the floor Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization Candidate who speaks Spanish Why this role: Stable, established manufacturing company with a strong team environment High visibility role with exposure to leadership Opportunity to own payroll and make an impact across HR operations Competitive compensation and benefits If you're looking for a well-rounded HR role where you can be both strategic and hands-on, this is a great opportunity to step into a key position within the organization.
