Dental Assistant
*Job Summary*
We are a small but established endodontic office seeking a skilled Dental Assistant (DA/RDA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures and help provide efficient patient care.
*Responsibilities*
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Assist dentists during endodontic dental procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs
- Instruct patients on postoperative and general oral healthcare
- Take and develop dental x-rays, CBCT scans
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Assist with front office work, greeting and dismissing patients, and setting returing appointments
*Qualifications*
- Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
- Comfortable with using computers and learning new softwares
- Familiarity with infection control procedures
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
- Ability to perform four-handed dentistry techniques
- Experience in an endodontics clinic or dental clinic setting is a plus
- Skilled in aseptic techniques for maintaining a clean environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00 - $34.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
