Linux/Unix Engineer
It is an intermediate level role responsible for assisting Blue data management, supporting Dataiku, Driverless AI, Juypter Notebook ,DataRobot. GEN AI and LLMs.
We need real time experience in Unix platform as we will be working with Business users, Engineering team, SA teams, vendors and HPE folks.
Duties:
- Install, configure, and maintain Unix-based operating systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement system enhancements
- Develop scripts and automation tools to streamline system administration tasks
- Ensure system security by implementing best practices and conducting regular audits
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Experience:
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems
- Experience with shell scripting (e.g., bash, ksh)
- Familiarity with threat intelligence and security best practices
- Proficiency in T-SQL for database management
- Knowledge of Group Policy Objects (GPO) for Windows administration
- Understanding of web services and RESTful APIs
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Java
- Experience with load balancing technologies
