This role includes processing merchandise transactions, maintaining an organized and visually appealing retail environment.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesGreet members and guests promptly and professionally, offering assistance in person and via telephone.Process retail transactions, including totaling purchases, calculating applicable taxes or discounts, and accepting payments.Wrap, bag, and prepare merchandise for customer pickup.Stock shelves, counters, and displays to ensure merchandise is well-presented and readily available.Create and maintain attractive merchandise displays to promote sales and seasonal offerings.Tag, mark, or label merchandise with accurate pricing information.Assist members and guests with tennis-related needs, including setting up court activities.Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves, counters, tables, and work areas.Maintain accurate sales records and assist with periodic inventory counts.other duties may be assignedOUTCOMEThe servicing of guests and members at the Kiosk in an efficient and positive manner will influence the customer’s perception of the company as friendly, helpful, professional and reliable, and will help generate merchandise sales.Qualification RequirementsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEHigh School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of educa­tion and experience. Strong retail knowledge preferred.Language SkillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively in English to customers, members, employees and the general public.Mathematical SkillsAbility to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.REASONING ABILITYAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Shifts will generally be rotated, as much as possible to be fair to everyone. At times it may be necessary to move you from your accustomed shift if business or task assignments demand.
