LEAD PORTER Newport Beach, CABoardwalk Investments Group, LLC ("Boardwalk") is a privately held commercial real estate investment company. Headquartered in Costa Mesa, California, the Firm currently manages a commercial real estate portfolio comprised of retail, mixed-use, office and multifamily assets located primarily in Orange County, California. Since 2012, Boardwalk's investment strategy is to actively acquire, stabilize, and manage commercial real estate located in core, coastal markets in California.The Lead Porter oversees daily porter operations to ensure all common areas and grounds are clean, safe, and well-maintained. This role leads by example, supports the porter team, and coordinates with management to maintain property standards across assigned locations.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESLead and support daily porter operations across assigned propertiesMaintain cleanliness of common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spacesPerform and oversee routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and sanitizationOperate pressure washers and window washing equipment as neededAssist with preparation of vacant unitsPerform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and air filtersConduct regular inspections and report maintenance, safety, or supply issuesAssign daily tasks, provide direction, and support porter staff as neededAssist with training new porters and reinforcing cleaning and safety standardsMonitor cleaning supplies and equipment and report inventory needsRespond to resident or management requests in a professional mannerFollow all safety procedures, including proper use of PPE and handling of cleaning chemicalsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSValid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between propertiesPrior janitorial or porter experiencePrevious leadership or lead experience preferredAbility to operate pressure washing and window washing equipmentStrong communication and organizational skillsAbility to work independently and supervise others when requiredBasic knowledge of safety procedures and cleaning equipmentSCHEDULEStandard Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:30am -3:00pmPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as requiredAbility to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 poundsAbility to perform repetitive tasks involving manual laborAbility to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsBoardwalk offers an attractive compensation and benefits package and the opportunity to be part of an exciting and fast paced organization.The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of this job.
