$40-$41 per hourPhoenix, AZContractDuration: 6 Months contractsThis is a remote position but does require a BH licenses, those have to be active in ArizonaPosition SummaryThe Utilization Management Clinical Consultant (UMCC) applies clinical expertise and evidence-based criteria to review behavioral health services for adult and child/adolescent members. This role evaluates medical necessity, supports appropriate utilization of benefits, and collaborates with providers to ensure quality, cost-effective care across the continuum of services.Key ResponsibilitiesReview clinical documentation to determine medical necessity and appropriateness of behavioral health servicesApply clinical guidelines and tools such as InterQual, MCG, ASAM, or LOCUSConduct initial, concurrent, and discharge reviewsCoordinate with healthcare providers regarding authorizations and care planningIdentify members who may benefit from care management or community resourcesSupport continuity of care and safe discharge planningProvide urgent or emergent triage support when requiredEnsure accurate documentation and compliance with policies and regulatory standardsParticipate in quality improvement and utilization initiativesRequired QualificationsActive Arizona license:LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker)LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor)LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist)ORRN with active compact license and behavioral health focusMaster's degree required for behavioral health cliniciansAssociate's degree required for RN applicantsExperience in behavioral health utilization management or clinical reviewStrong knowledge of medical necessity criteria (InterQual, MCG, ASAM, LOCUS preferred)Excellent communication and documentation skillsAbility to work independently in a remote environmentAbout US Tech Solutions:US Tech Solutions is a global staff augmentation firm providing a wide range of talent on-demand and total workforce solutions.
