Engine Test Engineer
Description:
Follow development and validation hardware through readiness process - support setup and debugging to assure test readiness
Track and report on testing progress and issues
Develop and implement first-time capable tests for hardware development and validation
Lead diagnosis and resolution of issues that occur during setup and testing
Interact with facilities, technical leads, calibration teams, hardware release engineers, and others to improve process and test efficiency
Utilize post processing tools to assure data quality and track usefulness of data in generation of final reports
Implement standard work processes and procedures globally
Support math-based activities, migrating additional work from Road and Lab to Math (RLM) based models and data analysis
Train, mentor, and develop new engineers

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Responsible for running an engine in a variety of different test cells to test the engines lubrication and ventilation systems. 20 or so different tests they call “standard work” that they would run for a particular engine. This is what they execute and are looking for help with this.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $35.00 - $39.00 per hour
