The facility features a robust and expanding neurosciences program, a high-volume emergency department with approximately 100,000 visits annually, and a dedicated 10-bed Neurotrauma Critical Care Unit. The organization operates as a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) health system and has a joint venture with Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital. Opportunity: Board Certified-Neurological Surgery This is an exceptional opportunity for a Neurosurgeon, preferably with neuroendovascular training, to join a growing, multidisciplinary neuroscience team in a Primary Stroke Center working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center designation. Job Details: • Join a team of 3 neurosurgeons and 4 medical neurologists, supported by neuroradiologists and physiatrists• Perform a range of neurosurgical procedures, with preference for candidates trained in neuroendovascular surgery• Collaborate within a Primary Stroke Center working toward Comprehensive Stroke Center designation• Utilize advanced neuroimaging, diagnostic tools, and surgical technology• Participate in stroke rehabilitation with access to inpatient rehab and neuropsychology consult services• Contribute to medical education and mentorship opportunities (if desired)• Deliver care in a physician-led culture focused on collaboration, innovation, and patient-centered outcomes• Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in Neurological Surgery• MD or DO degree required• Active Michigan license or in process of obtaining required• Relocation assistance offered• Potential for loan repayment (negotiable) Compensation: Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
