Responsibilities:Installing fiber optic internet services, delivering top-quality service, and providing product education to both residential and commercial customersInstallation of aerial and underground fiber optic cables from servicing terminals to demarcation at the customer's premises.Clean & connect fiber cable at the FSAI, MST, and ONT.Must have experience with aerial and/or underground cable installationMust have worked at heights of 18+ feet on an extension ladderStrong customer communication skills & the ability to explain technical issues to customers is requiredMay climb and work at elevations (e.g., from ladders, lift trucks) exceeding 18 feetMay perform strenuous physical activities including, but not limited to lifting objects weighing over 75 poundsMay perform job activities outdoors in different weather conditions (e.g., extreme cold and/or heat, inclement weather)When working aloft, employee's weight and tools combined may not exceed the 300-pound weight limit as specified by the manufacturer Requirements:Must have their own truck, van, or SUV with a ladder rackMust have their own tools to perform the jobMust have Android smart phonesMust have Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to include lace up boots with a defined 1/2-inch heel, hard hat, reflective vest, fall resistor, & safety conesOther equipment may be required by local managementMust be available to work flexible hours.
