Part-Time Advisor, Fort Drum - Jefferson Community College

Job Description Jefferson Community College, Watertown, New York, a member of the State University of New York (SUNY) system, is conducting a search for a part-time Advisor. This position provides advising and registration for active duty service members at the Jefferson Community College office in the Fort Drum Education Center. Staff are expected to advance the College's focus on student success and completion and will work closely with the College's leadership to advance the mission of the current Strategic Plan. Requirements Required: Bachelor's degree, computer technology competency, interpersonal communication skills, professional experience Applicants must interact and communicate effectively with diverse populations, foster inclusion, and promote equal access and treatment for groups traditionally under-represented in higher education. Preferred: Master's degree, military background Additional Information Strategic Plan Pay: $21/hr.
