Department Parks & Recreation Location COMLARA Park Position Type Seasonal Salary Date 2025.02.11 Description Seasonal Maintenance - Laborer - Parks Salary: Starts at $16.45-$18.12 per hour. Part-time & Full-time; Variable Start & End Date Supervised by Maintenance Supervisor Nature of Work: This position includes routine maintenance of parks including mowing, trimming, refuse collection, building and restroom cleaning. In addition, this position performs regular maintenance and renovation work including landscaping, painting, etc. Primary work hours are from 7:00 am — 3:30 pm. Mon-Friday with some weekend/ holiday work required: Regular weekend work may be available dependent upon scheduling. Examples of Work: Mowing parks Refuse removal Cleaning restrooms / buildings Routine maintenance on mowers and equipment Painting park equipment Installing wildlife habitat structures Assisting in aquatic/ fishery management Desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills: Experience working in landscape / lawn maintenance / janitorial areas. Knowledge & experience in small motors, operation of tractors Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees. Requirements: Must be in good physical condition Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must possess valid driver's license. Must be professional in appearance.
