The role will be responsible for performing routine tests as required on raw materials, in process components and final product. The candidate will participate in the validation of tests, inspections, processing methods and materials qualifications.District OverviewKIE-CON is a subsidiary of Kiewit, one of the largest engineering and construction organizations in North America. We provide clients with state-of-the-art operations to ensure the highest quality precast concrete projects.LocationThis position is located out of our precast facility in Antioch, CA.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily compressive strength testing of hardened concrete specimensMonitor production operations as requiredPerform daily pre/post pour inspections on productsOther duties may be assigned as neededQualificationsExperience in quality assurance is preferredACI / PCI Certification preferred (Highly desire a candidate who has attained the ACI) Field Technician Grade I or PCI Level I/II Certification)Experience with construction materialsBasic computer skillsStrong problem solving and communication skillsPhysical RequirementsLifting may be required with assistance provided if neededOther Requirements:Regular, reliable attendanceWork productively and meet deadlines timelyCommunicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environmentPerform work safely and effectively.
