Line WorkerThe Line Worker supports machine operators in a team-based production environment, assisting with all stages of the paper converting process. You will receive thorough training to perform a variety of tasks and will be developed toward becoming a lead operator. This role involves working an 8-hour shift on your feet in a clean, temperature-controlled facility.ResponsibilitiesAssist machine operators with daily production activities throughout the paper converting process.Support all stages of converting large rolls of tissue into facial tissue and travel-size packaged products.Operate and assist with packaging equipment under supervision, following training and safety guidelines.Perform machine operation tasks such as rewinding and picking as directed by the lead operator.Conduct visual inspection of products to ensure quality standards and specifications are met.Handle and move materials, including large rolls of tissue and boxes of finished products, in a safe and efficient manner.Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.Follow all standard operating procedures and safety protocols while working around machinery.Stand, bend, twist, squat, and rotate throughout the shift to complete production tasks.Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.Essential SkillsAt least 6 months of previous manufacturing experience within the last 2 years.Ability to lift 30 pounds consistently, verified through references.Ability to stand, bend, twist, squat, and rotate throughout an 8-hour shift.Experience with basic packaging tasks in a production or manufacturing environment.Foundational machine operation or machine operating experience.Ability to perform inspection tasks to ensure product quality.Reliable attendance, supported by references.Willingness to work 2nd shift (1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.) or 3rd shift (9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.) as scheduled.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious manufacturing or production experience beyond the minimum requirement.Experience with paper converting processes, including rewinding and picking.High school diploma is preferred but not required.Comfort working in a team-oriented, machine-driven production environment.Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures.Strong work ethic and commitment to learning and advancing into higher-level operator roles.Why Work Here?You will join a clean, modern facility that invests in training and offers clear opportunities to advance into higher-level operator roles. The facility maintains a comfortable, temperature-controlled environment. There is some noise from machinery, but it remains at a bearable level, and hearing protection is available for those who wish to use it. The company converts large rolls of tissue into facial tissue that is packaged in boxes or travel-size packages. This is an 8-hour, on-your-feet role requiring frequent standing, bending, twisting, squatting, and rotation. Shifts include 2nd shift (1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday) and 3rd shift (9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday).Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Little Chute, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
