We take pride in fostering a safe environment for all employees in our climate-controlled plants.Summary: The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining the plant production machinery, service equipment and physical building systems. Including but not limited to electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems.Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Friday, eight or more hours per day, five days per week based on business needs. Primary schedule will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, or similar. Include the following:Assist plant management in maintaining a proactive preventative maintenance programSafely troubleshoot mechanical/electrical problems Maintain hardware and software by responding to emergency service requests including diagnosing problems, ordering parts as needed, completing repairs or recommending solutions Participate in installation and removal of equipment Conduct routine checks and service equipment as required Provide production with clear proactive information on service issues Ensure completion of assignments by meeting quality/quantity specifications and requirements Complete and process all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. Regularly perform general housekeeping duties in your work area(s) Adhere to all safety policies and protocols and maintain a safe working environment Assist in cultivating an interdependent safety culture by reporting workplace hazards, related injuries, illnesses and or/near misses to management immediately Attend all department/company meetings Wear all assigned Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required. Other duties as assigned For an extensive list of responsibilities, duties and physical demands/work environment please refer to the attached Job Description.Experience And QualificationsEDUCATION, LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCES:Minimum of one (1) to three (3) years related field experience diagnosing and troubleshooting basic electrical problems using diagrams or blueprintsMinimum of one (1) to three (3) years related field experience maintaining electrical, mechanical and plumbing systemsMinimum two-year technical degree or equivalent experience in mechanical, digital, and electronic technologyCRITICAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS:Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems to the component levelWorking knowledge of materials and chemicals used in the printing industryBasic math skills, ability to perform mathematical functions of addition, subtraction, multiplication and divisionKnowledge of high and low voltage wiring, capability of identifying and qualifying single phase as well as three phase power requirementsAbility to operate gas and electrical forkliftsEffectively communicate orally and written with all members of the internal organization as well as external customersAbility to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required for business needsReading comprehension in relation to jobDetail-oriented and organized work ethics include efficient time management skills, with proven track record of completion of tasks/assignmentsAbility to adapt to a changing environment4over Company History4over was founded in February of 2001.
