Network Engineer

*Job Description* We are seeking a highly skilled *Network Engineer* for a *onsite* role based in Ocoee, FL. This position involves strategic planning, design, and optimization of network infrastructure, using cutting-edge technologies to develop effective network solutions. *What You'll Do* * Develop and implement network solutions using copper, fiber, and wireless infrastructure * Translate business needs into effective network architecture, recommending hardware and software * Manage configuration and maintenance of routers, switches, and wireless access points * Evaluate and recommend new products, staying updated on emerging technologies * Monitor network performance, conduct capacity planning, and suggest improvements * Troubleshoot network issues and devise resolution protocols * Lead enterprise-wide initiatives as a Project Leader * Travel to remote locations as required * Participate in after-hours on-call rotation *What You'll Need* * Cisco certifications in Network Professional, Design Professional, Security Professional, and Voice Professional domains * Expertise in network infrastructure, including DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology * Extensive experience with HPE/Aruba Switching products * Knowledge of the OSI model and data flow * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Effective communication and collaboration abilities * Experience with enterprise networking hardware and cloud networking * Proficiency in network performance monitoring and troubleshooting * Bachelor's Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent work experience *Physical Demands* * Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards * Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc. * Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor Job Type: Contract Pay: $34.71 - $50.00 per hour Experience: * Cisco products: 10 years (Required) * Network infrastructure: 10 years (Required) * Aruba Switching: 10 years (Required) * OSI Model: 10 years (Required) Work Location: In person
