Payroll Analyst Location: Centennial, CO Compensation: $80,000–$85,000 Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑driven Payroll Analyst to support a high‑volume, multi‑state payroll operation with a strong emphasis on prevailing wage compliance. This role is responsible for processing weekly payroll for approximately 2,000 employees while ensuring compliance with Davis‑Bacon, PWA, and IRA requirements.This is not a traditional payroll role. While payroll processing is a core responsibility, a significant portion of the position focuses on post‑payroll compliance, certified payroll reporting, and manual data validation. The ideal candidate brings hands‑on prevailing wage experience and is comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Process weekly, multi‑state payroll for approximately 2,000 employees using PaylocityManage and ensure compliance with Certified Payroll Reporting (CPRs) under Davis‑Bacon and other prevailing wage regulationsReview, edit, and submit certified payroll reports, including validation of: Craft and job classificationsApprentice and trainee classificationsFringe benefit calculationsInvestigate and resolve rejected, inaccurate, or incomplete payroll submissionsPartner closely with Time & Labor and Operations teams to resolve: Timekeeping discrepancies and missed punchesJob classification and pay rate issuesPerform manual payroll data analysis, validation, and reconciliation, often outside of system‑generated reports using advanced Excel techniquesMaintain and apply prevailing wage fringe schedules and ensure proper application during payroll processingReconcile payroll‑related general ledger accounts and support accounting with payroll reportingUpload, manage, and track payroll and compliance documentation across multiple reporting portals and systemsSupport internal and external audits, tax reporting, and DOL or third‑party compliance inquiriesAssist with year‑end payroll processing, reconciliations, and reporting Required Qualifications 2–5+ years of payroll experience (multi‑state payroll strongly preferred)Direct, hands‑on experience with: Certified Payroll Reporting (CPRs)Davis‑Bacon and prevailing wage regulationsStrong understanding of: Wage determinations and classificationsFringe benefit calculationsPayroll compliance requirementsAdvanced Excel skills, including data manipulation, analysis, and reportingExceptional accuracy and attention to detailProven ability to manage multiple deadlines in a high‑volume environmentStrong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross‑functionally#ZRCFS #LI-BF1#INAPR2026
