Coater Operator - D Shift

Job Summary:Managers the operation of the roll coating line for applying a coating across the web of plastic film.Must be willing to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Every Other Sunday, 6:45PM to 7AM. $2 per hour shift differential applies to this position.Job Duties:Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouseMaintains a safe working environment by following environments by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidentsMaintains company's quality standardsFills out paperwork correctly for inventory controlFlags splices and problem areasTurns setscrews to adjust distance between coating rollers that control thickness of coatingMeasures thickness of coating to test viscosityExamines coated film for defects such as air bubbles or un-coated surfacesJob Qualifications:High School diploma or general education diploma (GED) Six months to one year of manufacturing experienceMust possess good problem-solving skillsAbility to communicate effectively Must be dedicated to continuous improvementWillingness to work as team member or independentlyTranscendia is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
