Director of Business DevelopmentPegasus Park | Dallas, TexasPegasus Park is seeking a Director of Business Development to help drive the continued growth and activation of one of the nation’s most ambitious life sciences and innovation campuses.Located in Dallas, Pegasus Park is a 26-acre mixed-use innovation hub focused on advancing life sciences, healthcare, and technology innovation through strategic partnerships, tenant engagement, and ecosystem development. The campus brings together startups, established companies, investors, academic institutions, nonprofits, and community organizations in a purpose-built environment designed to accelerate collaboration and impact.This role reports directly to the Executive Director and is designed for a highly organized, commercially aware operator who can help translate strategy into execution while supporting tenant attraction, leasing momentum, partnerships, and cross-campus coordination.This is not a pure sales role, a program management role, or a back-office operations role. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable advancing business development opportunities, coordinating complex initiatives, managing relationships, and driving accountability across multiple priorities.Primary ResponsibilitiesStrategic Business Development & Leasing SupportSupport tenant acquisition and retention efforts aligned with Pegasus Park’s leasing and growth objectivesHelp manage and advance a proactive business development pipeline from active interest through deal progressionCoordinate follow-through, materials, and internal alignment for prospective tenant opportunitiesSupport outreach and relationship development with life sciences companies, strategic partners, and ecosystem stakeholdersWork closely with brokerage and campus partners to reinforce occupancy and tenant engagement goalsPartnerships & Ecosystem DevelopmentBuild and maintain relationships with startups, investors, academic institutions, healthcare systems, nonprofits, and community organizationsSupport initiatives that strengthen Pegasus Park’s innovation ecosystem and reinforce tenant valueRepresent Pegasus Park at targeted industry events, meetings, and networking opportunitiesHelp coordinate partnerships, sponsorships, and strategic collaborations aligned with campus prioritiesExecution & Operational CoordinationTranslate strategic priorities into actionable execution plans and coordinated workflowsTrack initiative progress, milestones, and follow-through across multiple concurrent prioritiesHelp establish operating cadence, reporting discipline, and accountability frameworksCoordinate external partners, consultants, and advisors to ensure alignment and execution disciplineSupport preparation of materials, updates, and presentations for leadership and ownership stakeholdersProgramming & Tenant EngagementSupport development of programming, events, and engagement initiatives that strengthen tenant experience and reinforce retention goalsCollaborate with marketing and communications teams to support outreach, storytelling, and ecosystem visibilityHelp evaluate initiative effectiveness using KPIs, stakeholder feedback, and performance trackingQualificationsRequired5–10+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, operations, real estate, healthcare, innovation ecosystems, economic development, or related fieldsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive execution across complex initiativesStrong relationship management, communication, and organizational skillsExperience operating in cross-functional or multi-stakeholder environmentsCommercial awareness and comfort supporting external-facing business development effortsBachelor’s degree requiredPreferredExperience in life sciences, healthcare, innovation districts, mixed-use developments, incubators, accelerators, or entrepreneurial ecosystemsFamiliarity with leasing dynamics, tenant engagement, or occupancy-driven environmentsExperience supporting partnerships, sponsorships, or revenue-generating initiativesExposure to CRM systems, pipeline management, or performance reportingAdvanced degree preferred but not requiredWhat We’re Looking ForExecution-oriented and highly disciplinedComfortable operating with ambiguity and evolving prioritiesLow-ego, collaborative leadership styleStrong follow-through and accountability mindsetAble to balance relationship-building with operational rigorPassion for innovation, entrepreneurship, and ecosystem developmentThis is an opportunity to help shape the future of a rapidly growing innovation campus at the center of North Texas’s evolving life sciences ecosystem.To request a full position description or apply, please submit a resume, cover letter, and three references to careers@pegasuspark.com.
