Job DescriptionSenior Clinical Information Systems Analyst (Ambulatory)Pay Range: $55/hour to $59/hourJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Senior Clinical Information Systems Analyst to support ambulatory clinical applications in a dynamic healthcare IT environment. This consultant will play a key role in application support, system implementation, workflow optimization, and ongoing maintenance of clinical systems.The ideal candidate brings strong analytical expertise, hands-on experience with healthcare applications, and the ability to translate complex clinical requirements into scalable technical solutions. This role requires both operational support and project-based work, including system upgrades, testing, and collaboration with clinical stakeholders and vendors.Key Responsibilities:Provide day-to-day operational support for clinical applications, including issue resolution and service requestsLead and participate in system implementation, upgrades, and enhancement initiativesAnalyze clinical workflows and translate business requirements into system design and technical solutionsDevelop, execute, and document detailed test plans for system changes and upgradesTroubleshoot application issues and interface integrations (inbound/outbound)Collaborate with clinical staff, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure system performance and usabilityCreate and maintain system documentation, user guides, and standard operating proceduresSupport end-user training and adoption of system enhancementsIdentify risks, issues, and improvement opportunities; provide recommendations and solutionsParticipate in project management activities, including task delegation and deliverable reviewEnsure systems meet operational, regulatory, and infrastructure requirementsParticipate in on-call rotation to support 24/7 operationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (Or 4 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree)Minimum 5 years of healthcare IT experience, including implementation, testing, and supportHands-on experience with clinical applications such as Revenue Cycle and PowerChartStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical issues independentlyExperience supporting clinical workflows in a healthcare environmentProven ability to develop and execute test plans and validate system functionalityStrong documentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts in business termsExperience troubleshooting system interfaces and integrationsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work flexible hours, including on-call supportPreferred Qualifications:Experience supporting ambulatory clinical systemsPrior consulting experience in healthcare IT environmentsFamiliarity with system optimization and workflow standardization initiativesAdditional Requirements:Ability to travel between locations as neededProfessional demeanor and strong stakeholder engagement skillsAbility to independently manage issues through full resolutionPlease view our Privacy Policy .
