Construction Superintendent

*Overview* We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Superintendent to lead and oversee Multifamily construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, excellent leadership skills, and a comprehensive understanding of construction regulations and safety protocols. As a Construction Superintendent, you will coordinate teams, manage subcontractors, review technical drawings, and ensure seamless project execution across all phases. *Responsibilities* * Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality output. * Develop, review, and coordinate detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to meet deadlines. * Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to guide onsite activities and ensure compliance with design intent. * Oversee safety protocols in accordance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment. * Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost-control measures to stay within financial targets. * Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, enforce quality control measures, and address any issues promptly. * Review construction contracts, change orders, and manage contractual obligations with clients and subcontractors. * Coordinate construction schedule updates, manage procurement of materials via HeavyBid or Pipeline software, and ensure timely delivery of resources. * Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and construction drawings review for accuracy before execution. * Lead team meetings to communicate project goals, safety updates, and progress reports effectively. * Ensure compliance with all construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations throughout the project lifecycle. *Skills* * Extensive experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, * Proven ability in managing commercial construction projects with a focus on safety and quality. * Strong knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project scheduling tools. * Skilled in blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and construction drawing review. * Excellent crew management skills with experience supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. * Deep understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety requirements. * Effective communication skills for managerial roles involving coordination with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and team members. * Ability to interpret technical specifications accurately while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols. * Demonstrated leadership in supervising onsite activities while ensuring quality control measures are met consistently.
