Development Manager

My client is a privately held global developer, owner, and operator of modern power infrastructure, focused on delivering low‑carbon and renewable energy solutions across North America. With offices in Boston and Houston, they are continuing to grow their development platform and are seeking experienced professionals to support this expansion.This role offers the opportunity to lead the development and/or acquisition of power generation projects, supporting critical infrastructure tied to AI, data centers, and long‑term energy transition goals.ResponsibilitiesLead projects from initial development through financial closeManage site negotiations, permitting, regulatory approvals, and stakeholder engagementOversee commercial agreements, financing, construction, and operational contractsCoordinate closely with engineering, finance, legal, and internal teamsEvaluate new development and acquisition opportunities and participate in bid processesQualificationsBachelor's degree required; MBA preferred5+ years of experience in energy, development, or related fieldsStrong negotiation, communication, and project leadership skillsSolid commercial and financial acumenAbility to travel as needed
