Sales AssistantThe Sales Assistant will provide the team with daily administrative support. This position will process a high volume of sales orders, check inventory and pricing, order status, and report monthly results to the team. They will also be highly involved in the Sales Team Market Weeks (4x a year).Responsibilities:Enter and process orders in Blue cherry and/or NuOrderMaintain operations by sending order confirmations to clientsMonitor, track and follow up on all special ordersVerify all stock orders for errors and communicating discrepanciesProcess customer returns and exchangesAdditional duties and responsibilities may be assignedAssist the sales team in market prep and showroom sales presentationManage the showroom calendar and partner with the sales team on the details of each appointmentPartner with the sales team to update product changes on Joor and NuOrderHelp provide wholesale partners with product copy detail, as well, styling guidelinesAssist in the preparation of seasonal marketing tools including buy books and selling aidsAssist with order management and order entry for wholesale accountsDesired Background:Bachelor's Degree1 - 2+ years relevant experience in a retail environmentSkills:Excellent verbal and written communicationMust be highly self-motivated with strong sense of urgency and judgementMust be a positive team player and be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication skills; meticulous and organized with excellent follow-up skillsEffective time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities, with strong attention to detailProficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerpointBlue cherry and SmartSheet knowledge is a plusBase Salary Range:The base salary range for this position is $52,000 - $56,000.
