Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and providing exceptional patient care in a pediatric setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist pediatricians with patient examinations and procedures
Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring cleanliness and organization
Record patient medical histories and vital signs accurately
Administer vaccinations and medications as directed by healthcare providers
Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics
Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently
Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care

Requirements
Required Skills:
Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with children and their families
Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
Knowledge of pediatric medical procedures and terminology
Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care
Salary Description
$20.00 to $22.00 an hour based on experience
