Program Manager (Engineering, Research & Technology)

*Responsibilities*
* Coordinate day-to-day activities across engineering, research, and technology programs and initiatives
* Manage project timelines, milestones, deliverables, and competing priorities
* Track program performance and maintain reports, dashboards, and project monitoring tools
* Support the administration and tracking of research projects, contracts, grants, and cooperative agreements
* Coordinate communications with members, committees, government agencies, universities, consultants, and industry partners
* Support committee and task-force activities and help keep stakeholders aligned on projects
* Assist with sustainability, innovation, technology, and industry partnership initiatives
* Maintain accurate program data and provide leadership with visibility into project status, milestones, and potential risks
* Develop and improve processes, workflows, tools, and systems to increase efficiency
* Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects and organizational initiatives
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
* Experience in program management, project coordination, research administration, association operations, or a related field strongly preferred
* Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience with dashboards, databases, project tracking systems, or other data management tools is a plus
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work independently and proactively move projects forward
* Close attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reporting
* Comfortable communicating with technical experts, researchers, industry professionals, and external stakeholders
* Experience with civil engineering, nonprofit organizations, research programs, contract or grant administration, stakeholder engagement, or technology platforms is a plus
* Comfortable working independently and collaborating with a variety of stakeholders
