Employees must remain employed for 12 months to retain the relocation bonus.About The RoleIn this role, you will help construct high-quality modular building systems by assembling prefabricated metal components using a variety of tools and equipment.ResponsibilitiesWhat You Will Do: (Essential Functions)Assemble metal modular building structures on welded skids according to job specificationsInterpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and written work instructionsInstall siding and prefabricated components as part of the assembly processPrepare weld fittings and assist with fabrication support tasksSafely operate a forklift in accordance with company policies (as needed)Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the shiftPerform quality checks to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all workSupport team goals by meeting production deadlines while maintaining safety and quality standardsCollaborate effectively with team members and supervisorsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsWhat You Will Bring: (Skills, Abilities, Education) High school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required 0-2 years of manufacturing or construction experience is preferred, but not required Good motor vehicle record is required Ability to use Microsoft Office programs specifically Excel. Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment. Ability to read blueprints, ISO’s, and other technical documents is preferred Must be able to read a tape measure Must be able to perform job responsibilities at heights High mechanical aptitude required Work EnvironmentWork is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time.
