AV Programmer

Our mission for over 37 years is to combine innovative technologies and services to help our clients succeed in their mission goals. We are seeking a highly motivated Audio Visual Programmer. Working under the direction of our AV Architect and in collaboration with the AV team, this position is responsible for writing integration programs, designing and developing graphical user interfaces for touch panels and systems, and maintaining project documentation. Responsibilities also include troubleshooting, debugging, and commissioning systems. This role requires strong analytical skills and the ability to successfully manage a variety of tasks and responsibilities. Typical work hours are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm or as needed. Additional hours may be required to complete the task at hand. All candidates must pass a comprehensive criminal background check and a drug screening/testing. Daly is a drug-free workplace. Duties and Responsibilities: · Review requirements and design AV systems, perform tests and pilot of viable technologies · Creating a consistent and reliable control program based on design documents · Create Graphical User Interface (GUI), client specific branding to create a customer aesthetic that is function and intuitive · Troubleshoot AV programs · Program control processors, touch panels, audio DSP, and other peripherals · Perform calibration and optimization for functionality · Commission systems, including configuration of DSP systems · Define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain software applications · Perform audio tuning · Develop client documentation to aide in the delivery of an optimal customer experience · Deliver training documents · Peer review code to ensure accuracy and efficiency · Advanced configuration Provide project scheduling coordination for all team members based on parts expected delivery · Stay current on trends and training Qualifications and Skills: · Several years of experience with coding, UI building, and DSP development · Proficient in programming products such as Biamp, Crestron, AMX, Extron, and QSC software and hardware · Strong experience with audiovisual network protocols (Dante, AVB, NDI, SDI, etc.) · Knowledge of scalable coding, encoding/decoding standards, and security protocols · Experience with GUI design · Ability to utilize AutoCAD and/or WireCAD and modify architectural plans · Skilled at conceptualizing component interactions and installation environments prior to physical installation · Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and line diagrams · Strong experience with digital video/audio transmission and protocols · Knowledge of electronic components, automation, theater, and distributed AV system installations · Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills · In-depth knowledge of audiovisual equipment and its applications · Working knowledge of management ticketing systems · Strategic thinker with the ability to present innovative ideas to diverse audiences · Excellent communication and interpersonal skills · Effective time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment · Relevant background in Audio Visual, Resource Management, Purchasing, or Business Administration · Any industry certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, Shure, Biamp, QSC, Polycom, Cisco, BICSI is a plus.
