Senior Staff Accountant

iAutomation, a full-service automation company, developing robotic solutions and offering design, engineering, and integration (DE&I) services, product support, and production services, has an immediate opening for a Senior Staff Accountant in Franklin, Massachusetts.The Senior Staff Accountant is responsible for preparing month-end journal entries, account reconciliations, and account analysis. The successful candidate will collect pertinent information for third party audits, review payroll, and will be the first point of contact for accounting-related issues.Play a significant role in the month-end close processProcess accounting transactions with accuracy across multiple cost centersProvide detailed analysis and explanations of all transactionsCoordinate documentation for external auditorsResponsible for Sales & Use Tax compliance across multiple entities, including timely filings & documentationKnowledgeable in Fixed Assets. Update and track Fixed Assets across multiple entities/cost centersManage credit card reconciliationMaintain and update process and procedure documents for the departmentDemonstrated ability to support other departments within the company and coordinate training and information sessions as neededAssist with other projects as neededQualifications and RequirementsRequires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, and a desire to develop accounting skills for growth opportunity in the department.Must be able to prioritize deadlines and shift priorities in a changing environment.Experience with month-end close processes, journal entries, and account reconciliationStrong knowledge of GAAP and standard accounting practicesExperience with Sales & Use Tax compliance and filingsFamiliarity with fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedulesPrior experience supporting external audits and preparing audit documentationExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.Strong verbal and written communication skillsAttention to detailERP experience is required; NetSuite or SAP is a plus.Proficiency in Microsoft OfficeAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, data analysis)Payroll experience is helpfulExperience working in Manufacturing is a plusSalary Range: $85,000 - $100,000 annually.This range reflects the expected base pay for this position in Massachusetts and is based on internal equity.
