Primary Care Physician Opportunity with Behavioral Health focus - No Calls or Weekends A healthcare facility in North Carolina is looking for a Medical Physician locum tenens provider. This opportunity offers a balanced work schedule and a supportive care environment. Practice Setting: Full-time adult-only primary care The patient population includes short-term psych patients with addiction issues 48-bed capacity, collaborative care team (Psychiatrist, NP/PA, RNs, Psychologist, Techs) Schedule: Monday through Friday workweek No call or weekend shifts! Initial 3-month commitment, with the potential to extend Procedures and Cases: Inpatient care for psych patients, including treating heart issues, wound care, pregnancy, STDs, and other medical conditions. Must be able to prescribe, order labs, and read results. Focus on addiction and trauma cases.
