Our celebrated products consist of Duke’s Mayonnaise, Spice Hunter and Sauer Brands.Overall Goal of Position:Responsible for installing and ensuring proper maintenance of proper maintenance of electrical equipment for facility and help support our Purpose and Values.Job SummaryThe Electrician is responsible for planning and installing electrical systems, performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on production equipment.Key Duties And ResponsibilitiesInspect on a routine basis electrical equipment, wiring, fixtures and other components to ensure they remain functional and are up to code, as well as to identify any hazards or issues. Determine the reasons for any malfunctions of systems or components and create a maintenance or repair plan to solve the problem. Repair electrical systems, wiring, circuit breakers, equipment, and other components so that they remain at full functioning capacity. Test systems with devices such as voltmeters, oscilloscopes, and ohmmeters to ensure the system remains safe and that components are compatible. Review blueprints to understand the placement of wiring or to comprehend the working of the equipment to provide the right service and repairs. Provide suggestions on the lifespan of equipment and other electrical components, advising when certain components should be replaced due to potential risks. Keep records of all maintenance and repair work conducted, including a record of any supplies ordered and used. Ensure all routine maintenance work is handled on a regular schedule to reduce the risk of larger and more complex issues and to reduce costs. Performs diversified duties to maintain production machinery. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs maintenance repairs of production equipment. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines. What We Are Looking For: Characteristics, skills, experience, education, and performance history needed for success in the position: Must be willing and able to frequently stand, walk, push, pull, kneel, and reach. Able to lift 30 pounds with or without reasonable assistance. Must demonstrate excellent job performance in productivity, quality, safety, and attendance. Time management skills. Willing to learn the process from the ground up and able to work in a team environment. Excellent Organizational and documentation skills. Outgoing personality and good customer service skills. Must be able to work well without supervision and within a team environment. Display a positive and strong work ethic. Flexible schedule with overtime. The Ideal Candidate Will Have: High school diploma or equivalent3-5 years’ experience in electrical maintenance or associated workRelevant electrician certificationsAble to directly work with and repair electrical systems and electrical system interfaces with plant equipment.
