Production Engineer

Position SummaryProduction Engineer position that is responsible for job execution and overall performance of the Production program. Provides conceptual ideas and cost estimates for strategic portfolio decisions. Continuously works on improving cost and cycle time efficiency through technical research and offset data analysis. Requires limited technical supervision on a daily basis and utilizes available resources on a frequent basisResponsibilitiesWork with the field operations team to provide engineering support for troubleshootingAssist in optimizing production during normal and upset conditionsReview candidates for artificial lift, create procedures and execute projects while tracking costMonthly accruals for operating expensesRecommend, build cost estimates, and create procedures for all workovers including, but not limited to; well cleanouts, tubing installs, tubing repairs, capillary string installation, plunger lift installation, fishing operationsEnsure adherence with environmental compliance, safety policies and regulatory standardsPerform production troubleshooting and artificial lift analysis/optimization on producing wellsProvide well surveillance on a day-to-day basis using available real time data streams, field reporting, cumulative production, ratios, etc., in order to efficiently produce the wells and to meet production and financial targetsTrack and monitor lease operating expense for the wells assignedPerform economic evaluation on production projectsField work (as needed)Other duties and responsibilities as assignedBeing courteous, cooperative, and helpful are conditions of employment with Range.
