Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled *Senior Java Spring Boot Developer with Agentic AI experience* to support the modernization and replacement of an enterprise wire payment platform. This project involves migrating an existing on-premises infrastructure to Microsoft Azure and developing new integrations for the next-generation platform.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Java and Spring Boot development experience, familiarity with Agentic AI, AI agents and sub-agents, and experience with prompt engineering. Banking or financial services experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
- Support the modernization and migration of an existing wire payment platform from on-premises colocation infrastructure to Microsoft Azure.
- Design, develop, and implement new platform integrations.
- Build and support complex data input, output, mapping, and transformation processes.
- Contribute to the architecture and design of new application components and integration solutions.
- Apply Agentic AI development techniques, including AI agents, sub-agents, and orchestrator-based workflows.
- Develop and refine AI prompts and support AI-driven development workflows.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, architecture, and engineering teams on Azure-based solutions.
- Contribute to code development and technical design before application release.
- Participate in technical discussions, project meetings, and daily standups.
Required Qualifications:
- 9+ years of hands-on experience developing applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application development.
- Practical experience or exposure to Agentic AI, AI agents, sub-agents, or multi-agent workflows.
- Experience with AI prompt engineering and AI-assisted application development.
- Knowledge of agent orchestration and AI-driven task delegation.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services and cloud-based application architecture.
- Strong understanding of system integrations, data transformation, and application interfaces.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in banking, financial services, or payment processing.
- Experience working on wire payment platforms or payment modernization projects.
- Hands-on experience deploying or architecting applications on Azure.
- Experience with cloud migration from on-premises infrastructure.
- Familiarity with AI agent frameworks, orchestrators, and multi-agent architectures.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software engineering practices.
Project Overview
This is a long-term platform modernization initiative involving the migration of an existing wire platform to Azure, with a project roadmap extending through 2028. The selected developer will contribute to application development, integration architecture, and the implementation of Agentic AI capabilities.
