This office consists of a clinic, which can see upwards of 10-12 patients per day for their wellness visits.The Patient Care Coordinator is responsible for general clinic office functions that support efficient and effective patient care including patient registration, insurance verification, collection of applicable co-insurance and/or co-payments and scheduling of diagnostic and follow-up appointments and answering phones.Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30AM - 4:00PMLocation: 1403 East Sego Lily Drive, Sandy, UT. Expectation to travel to 1580 W. Antelope Dr. Suite 250, Layton, UT 84041 25% of the time. Primary Responsibilities:Provide exceptional service to all customersGreets patients as they arrive and manages wait timeProcesses walk-in patients and visitorsManages day to day operations for activities and programs within the community center spaceAnswers phones and schedules appointments as necessary, verifying correct visit type and primary care providerAnswer telephone calls, re-direct calls as appropriate, assist callers with questions or concerns, and take messages as neededManages medical records (maintains, files/scans, prepares for schedule)Ensures all correspondence is scanned and/or filed, processes requests for medical records release and maintains appropriate logs, etc.Work with back-office staff to ensure smooth patient flowResolve service issues and complaints, and defer to appropriate management or clinical personnel when necessaryAssist co-workers and team members with duties when requested, to include but not limited to, floating to other areasClose out EMR messagesEstablish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees, and the publicPerforms all other related duties as assignedWhat are the reasons to consider working for UnitedHealth Group?
