Business Development Manager

Business Development & Sales:Proactively prospect through networking, referrals, and targeted outreachManage and convert inbound leads from marketing and existing clientsBuild and maintain a strong sales pipeline focused on long-term relationshipsRepresent company at trade shows, community events, and industry functionsConduct client meetings, site visits, and presentationsClient Management:Build and maintain strong, trust-based client relationshipsGuide clients through design, budgeting, and project decisionsEnsure consistent communication from initial contact through project completionDeliver high-level customer experience aligned with company standardsSales Execution:Collaborate with designers, project managers, and subcontractorsDevelop proposals, concept plans, and presentations (AutoCAD/sketching preferred)Close deals, secure contracts, and manage onboarding processMaintain accurate records in CRM (Aspire preferred)Brand Representation:Act as a professional brand ambassador in all client and public interactionsMaintain polished, professional presence aligned with company standardsQualifications:3–5+ years in landscape sales, enhancements, or project developmentStrong relationship-building and sales skillsKnowledge of landscape systems (irrigation, lighting, hardscaping, etc.)Design experience and ability to read plans preferredExperience with CRM tools (Aspire a plus) and Microsoft/Google toolsWillingness to travel locally and work flexible hours
