We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Director of Sales & Marketing who brings a passion for hospitality, strong sales leadership, and a desire to grow within a high-performing organization.This role is responsible for overseeing all sales, catering, and marketing efforts for a full-service hotel property. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth across multiple segments including group, transient, corporate, and catering business, while leading and developing a high-performing team.Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Revenue ManagementOversee all revenue streams including group rooms, transient business, negotiated accounts, and catering salesDevelop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize revenue and profitabilityManage rate strategies and optimize pricing through CRM systemsLead the annual national and local negotiated account RFP processesCollaborate with revenue management to ensure effective pricing and inventory strategiesTeam Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and manage sales, catering, reservations, and administrative teamsRecruit, train, and evaluate team members to ensure strong performanceEstablish clear sales goals and hold team accountable for achieving targetsConduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing coachingMarketing & Brand ManagementDevelop and execute the annual marketing plan and revenue budgetManage advertising and promotional strategies to maximize return on investmentOversee all marketing assets including digital presence, third-party platforms, and collateralEnsure brand standards and content quality across all channelsDirect creative initiatives including photography and video productionReporting & Financial OversightProvide accurate forecasting and reporting of revenue performance to executive leadershipMonitor budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resourcesConduct competitive market analysis and SWOT assessments to identify opportunitiesClient & Relationship ManagementMaintain and grow key client relationships to ensure long-term revenue growthEnsure high levels of customer satisfaction and service deliveryReview and manage contracts, agreements, and vendor relationships for accuracy and complianceResponsibilitiesRepresent the organization within the local business and hospitality communityParticipate in executive and cross-functional committeesEnsure proper use of CRM systems and sales toolsSupport overall operational alignment between departmentsQualifications & SkillsMinimum of 5 years of experience in a senior sales leadership role within a full-service hospitality environmentStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsProven ability to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targetsSolid understanding of revenue management, forecasting, and budgetingProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applicationsExperience with hospitality systems and platforms is a plusStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
