Together, you and Gentex can build a career that's uniquely yours.EDUCATION:* High School Diploma or equivalent preferredEXPERIENCE:2-4 years of experience with stock room, material handling, and warehouse settingSolid interpersonal skills with the ability to develop and maintain strong communication with all levels of employeesShipping/ Receiving experience is a plusABOUT THE JOB!Performs essential routine tasks involving the replenishing and distributing of materials to the manufacturing floor and assisting with shipping and receiving as needed.Gentex offers a robust benefit package- including, but not limited to, medical coverages, 401k, paid time off and excellent work schedules including a 9/80 work week.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:Strong knowledge of inventory handling processes, inventory cycle counting and physical inventory1+ years experience with maintaining shelf-life materialsStrong knowledge and understanding weight counts using a calibrated scaleAttention to detail, ability to multi-task, follow instructions and accurately count inventoryProactive approach to solving problems and implementing solutionsTeam player and good understanding of all job functions within stockroomEasily adaptable and open to process changes / improvementsKnowledge of FOD workspaces and electrostatic sensitive devicesBasic computer use including ERP Systems, Microsoft Office, label printing experience and INFOR XAKnowledge of UPS Tracking World Ship software, FedEx Ship Manager a plusRESPONSIBILITIES:Monitor and replenish point of use inventory items to supporting various product linesKit materials from inventory locations per pick list and issue kits to productionShipping using UPS Tracking World Ship software, FedEx Ship ManagerContact Freight forwarders and ability to palletize products for large shipmentsPrepare production routers, material requisitions and shortages for production in a timely mannerPerform cycle counts and assist to correct any inventory inaccuraciesMaintain inventory accuracy, material location integrity and follow FIFO throughout the stockroomReceive incoming materials from production into MRP system.Transfers product between inventory locationsAssist and monitor chemical expiration dates in excel databaseFollow all safety requirements, regulations, and guidelinesOther duties as assignedTO APPLY:Visit: https://gentexcorp.com/careers/LOCATION:Gentex's Manchester facility is located in southern New Hampshire.
