Machine Operator | Forklift Operator | $19-21 HRWe are seeking a skilled Saw Operator to join our team. This position involves setting up and operating metal fabrication equipment, including laser burning machines, rollers, brake presses, drills, and saws to produce high-quality products. The role requires precision and attention to detail to ensure that all products meet quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate metal fabrication equipment, including laser burning machines, rollers, brake presses, drills, and saws.Move materials manually using hoists or forklifts and secure them in fixtures and tables.Align and verify positioning with measuring instruments to determine reference points and compute layout dimensions.Complete first article inspections and verify completed work pieces for defects, controlling scrap waste.Use hand tools to grind, sand, clean, or polish objects or parts to correct defects or prepare surfaces for further finishing.Create layouts and outline sequences of operations, applying knowledge of stock allowances for thickness, trigonometry, and physical properties of metal.Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms or lifting accessories to prevent malfunctions or damage.Set up and recall programs, place materials, and position the cutting head for laser and plasma cutting table operations.Operate vehicles or mechanized equipment, such as forklifts and passenger vehicles.May be assigned additional responsibilities as necessary to support manufacturing and fabrication operations.The position operates on the first shift from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
