CT Tech Location: Presque Isle, ME Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,812 per week Shift Information: 3 days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/20/2026 About the Position Job Title: CT Technologist Profession: CT Tech Specialty: CT Scan Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 36 hours Experience: 1 year preferred; will accept travelers with one year of experience License: ME State license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT (R) (CT) required Must-Have: CTA studies experience General studies experience IV start skills preferred Biopsy experience preferred Experience with Toshiba and GE equipment preferred Description: ASAP start needed. CT/Rad Tech needed. Imaging department has one CT room. Care areas include emergency department, outpatient, and inpatient. Patient population primarily consists of adults and geriatrics with some pediatrics. Outpatient cases include oncology, general abdominal pain, post-surgical, and trauma. Average patients seen per day is 25-30 scans. Biopsies experience is not required as training will be provided. Lead Technologist will provide support on the unit. Two techs are available on weekdays and evenings, and one on weekends. Internal transport is available. Radiologist is on-site. EMR used is Cerner, and PACS is Enterprise Imaging AGFA. Equipment used includes Siemens X.Cite and GE 16 slice PET CT. Fixed location for CT; no floating required. Weekend rotation varies based on need. No call required. Holiday expectations will be managed in rotation with other techs. 7-week schedules will be implemented with variable shifts. Specific shifts will vary based on department needs. Travelers unwilling to support variable shifts should not apply. Scrubs should be solid professional colors or provided by the facility.
