Manufacturing Technician Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for performing a variety of assignments related to regular and special department functions to ensure the mold continuously flows through the plant with minimal to no interruption in the process.This is a second shift position with typical hours of 3:00 pm- 12:00 am.Essential Duties And Responsibilities Hard worker with dependable and reliable attendanceComply with all safety and health guidelines, quality standard practices/procedures, and housekeeping standardsLocate, read & interpret standard practices and procedures from multiple cellsPerform a variety of job duties in the wax cell including, but not limited to: die changeover, sprue or pattern manufacturing, mold assembly, and inspectionPerform a variety of job duties in the dip cell including, but not limited to: hanging and dipping molds by hand, running the robotic dip cell, unloading molds, dewaxing, and inspectionPerform a variety of job duties in the melt cell including, but not limited to: kaowool wrapping molds, loading ovens, pulling, setting, pouring, melting, shell removal, and part removalPerform a variety of job duties in the finishing cell including, but not limited to: removing gates, cleaning parts, operating CNC equipment, inspection and repair, shipping and receiving to customers or subcontractorsMaintain electronic records in various manufacturing systemsPerform preventative maintenance on equipment or processes as assigned by leadershipIf certified on the forklift loading and unloading trucks, transporting material to point-of-use or storage locationQualification Requirements To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform many essential duties across multiple cells satisfactorily. Must possess good computer skills and be able to learn new skills as needed.
