Job Description Summary Water Feature Specialist oversees the maintenance of all Casino, Cultural Plaza and Museum water features, along with maintaining Sec-he leisure and wellness water services, including, but not limited to, Hot tubs, mineral pools, and swimming pool facilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned)Maintains the cleanliness of the pools, spas, ponds, and other water features and performs other maintenance functions as deemed necessary by managementPerform routine to complex cleaning of the pools, spas, ponds, fountains, and other water features throughout the property.Maintain records of water feature cleaning by using established proceduresEnsure that all equipment and work areas are kept clean, neat, and orderly at all times.Maintain all pool and water feature mechanical equipment, including, but not limited to, pumps, heaters, filters, control units, valves, and piping. This includes the trouble shooting and replacement of these items.Operate equipment when necessary to maintain the pools, spas, ponds, fountains, and other water features.Advise Faculties Manager of any unusual conditions with regard to the pools, spas, ponds, fountains, and other water features.Recognize equipment that needs repairs, adjustments, or replacementKeeps informed and updated on current techniques and technical methodsMaintains a constant awareness of safety and accident preventionMust be able to follow safety guidelines and work closely with Safety Coordinator to make sure all safety guidelines are adhered to.Provides excellent guest service to both guest and internal clients.Must adhere to all Tribal Ordinance, Regulations, and the Agua Caliente Casinos System of Internal Controls, and Standard Operating Procedures. Supervisory Responsibilities None Access to Sensitive Areas and Information (ACCPS) As per the ACGC Access Matrix Signatory Ability Purchase Requisitions HR forms Required Education and/or Experience5 years of direct commercial pool or water feature cleaning and maintenance experienceMust have experiences maintaining water features or services for a hospitality resort or a health and wellness spa.CPO (Certified Pool Operator) preferredMust be able to communicate in English. Working Conditions/Physical Demands To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 1⁄2 mile, climbing stairs and sitting at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift. Must be able to work in a "lighting subdued" environment for extended periods of time. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions to include extreme heat and cold weather Typically, the individual will be housed in an outdoor environment. Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hands in order to use hand tools, and office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone.
