Business/Data AnalystLocation: Charlotte, NCHybrid: 4 days/week in office, 1 day remote 6-month contract w/ option to extendOverviewWe are seeking a Data / Business Analyst to support a large-scale program focused on managing and analyzing subsidy-related data. This role sits at the intersection of business and data, requiring strong collaboration with stakeholders while performing hands-on analysis to ensure data accuracy and reporting integrity. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, comfortable working with data pipelines and SQL, and able to translate business needs into actionable insights.Job ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders to gather, interpret, and translate requirements into clear technical specificationsAnalyze large datasets using SQL to support reporting, financial reconciliation, and data validation effortsEnsure accuracy and consistency of data across ingestion pipelines and data warehouse environmentsSupport data workflows and pipeline processes, identifying and resolving data quality issuesGenerate reports and insights to support compliance, operations, and business decision-makingAct as a bridge between business and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful executionSkills Required1–3 years of experience in a combined Data Analyst and/or Business Analyst roleStrong SQL skills with experience querying and analyzing structured datasetsExperience working with Postgres SQL or similar data warehouse environments (preferred)Familiarity with ETL processes and/or data pipeline tools (e.g., Apache NiFi preferred)Excellent attention to detail, especially in data accuracy and validationStrong communication skills with the ability to translate technical and non-technical requirementsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Finance, or related fieldRelevant certifications (e.g., CBAP) are a plusEight Eleven Group provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, citizenship, disability, genetic information, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, amnesty or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
