Computer Numerical Control Programmer

CNC ProgrammerOnsiteEagle, WI The Programmer is responsible for the creation and maintenance of programs for turret punch, laser cutting machines, and dimension flats. Responsibilities:Create and maintain programs for press brakes, panel benders, and robotic brakes.Maintains and/or changes the floor routings and BOMs required for processing the parts through the sheet metal department.Resolve programming issues.Minimum Qualifications:High school DiplomaMust be at least 18 years old to work in a manufacturing environmentPreferred Qualifications: Technical School/Associate DegreeKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and printsAbility to interact effectively with both production and engineering employeesProficient in Microsoft Office Applications and PDM/ERP systems (AS/400, iSeries, MAPICS)Demonstrated knowledge of creating AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or ProEProficient in SigmaNest, Striker, and G-code/M-codeDemonstrated knowledge of fabrication sheet metal processes including punch press, brake press, laser, and CNC)Physical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job include are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting, close vision and ability to adjust focus.
