Electrical Engineer

Job Description Growing engineering firm is looking for a talented Electrical Engineer for their Duluth, Minnesota office! Responsibilities:Design electrical systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, industrial, and public-sector building projectsDevelop construction documents (including plans, specifications, calculations, and reports)Perform power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage system designCoordinate designs with architects, contractors, owners, and other engineering disciplinesConduct site visits, field investigations, and construction observationsDeliver projects on schedule and within budgetApply applicable codes and standards to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant designsAssist with project proposals, client meetings, and technical presentationsMentor/train junior staffManage multiple projects/priorities in a collaborative environmentRequirements:Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related fieldPE License in Minnesota and ability to obtain licensure in North Dakota within six months5+ years of experience designing electrical building systems (adjust years as appropriate)Experience with commercial, institutional, industrial, or municipal building projectsProficient with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP, or similar toolsStrong understanding of NEC, NFPA, IBC, IEEE, and other applicable codes and standardsSalary is commensurate with experience.Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to protected veteran status, disability, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.Please contact Laura Harrison for further information!www.harrisonconsultingsolutions.com517-906-6926
