Job Summary
The Executive Chef will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of the establishment. This role involves leading a team of kitchen staff, creating menus, and ensuring high-quality food production.
Duties
- Develop and maintain menus that meet quality standards
- Supervise food preparation and cooking processes
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and quality standards
- Manage inventory control and food costing
- Train and supervise kitchen staff
- Collaborate with management to plan and execute special events or promotions
Experience
- Proven experience in a similar role within the hospitality or restaurant industry
- Strong knowledge of catering, food handling, and restaurant management
- Proficiency in inventory control and food service management
- Excellent leadership and supervisory skills to lead kitchen staff effectively
