Retail Cashier Associate

Job description Retail Cashier/ Associate Pay: $21/hr (incudes on time bonus) + benefits Shell Gas in Temecula is offering an enjoyable position in our family business. · Greet every Customer with a smile and simple verbal greeting. · Process fuel purchases, scan items & collect payment. · Assist Customers with issues at pump and finding items for purchase. · Monitor Customer activity for safety. · Maintain a clean and organized store environment. · Restock shelves, front face cooler merchandise. · Assist with training new Staff Members. · Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned. · Continuously develop knowledge of products and services to better assist customers. · Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. · Ability to work 5 days per week, including Weekends and Holidays, plus extra hours occasionally. **Due to scheduling requirements, we are unable to accommodate a 2nd job.** · Exposure to cold or hot temperatures in the walk-in cooler and outdoors. · Bend at waist with some twisting, standing, stooping, and/or walk for an entire shift. · Grasp, reach and manipulate objects with hands continuously throughout the day (this requires eye-hand coordination, and may occasionally require climbing a ladder to store/retrieve items. · Routinely lift/or carry up to 30lbs from ground to overhead (stocking/maintaining inventory levels on the shelves. In the cooler, etc. Push and pull with arms up to a force of 20lbs (utilizing a hand truck, sweep and mop floors, etc.) · On occasion, lift and/or carry up to 60lbs from ground to shelf (to replenish fountain syrups, ice, etc.) · Accurately complete daily paperwork, receives and verifies Vendor deliveries. · Efficiently ring up sales on a POS / cash register properly and accurately, handling money and other types of payment received for products sold. · Work with others, and work with minimum direction. · Ability to work in fast paced environment and handle multiple task simultaneously. · Reliable transportation and valid Driver’s License. · Legally eligible to work in the United States. · Daily Gasoline voucher. · 1 week’s pay bonus per year (based on hours worked per week). · 5 days paid sick time (if not used – paid out annually). · Medical Coverage Contribution (50% Employer Contribution – must work on average – 30 hrs per week). · Premium pay on Holidays. · Opportunities for Career growth and advancement within the Company.
