SQL DBA/Migration role - Only USC, GC

Job description:Experienced MS SQL Server DBA primarily for migrating SQL server virtual machines to Azure SQL. Work independently, ensure a smooth migration process, and help optimize our database environment in Azure. Key requirements:Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server administrationProven experience migrating SQL Server from on-prem/VM environments to Azure SQL Managed InstanceHands-on experience operating and maintaining Azure SQL DatabasesExpertise in high availability configurations, including clusteringExperience with data replication strategies and implementationMust have requirements:Strong SQL Server DBA (2019/2022) backgroundProven SQL to Azure SQL Managed Instance migration experienceExperience with:Large-scale, high-growth databasesHigh availability (clustering, DR)Able to:Work independentlyProvide technical leadership/mentorshipWorking in a clustered 24x7 environment – they understand change management, that capabilityNice to have:Exposure to Postgres / NoSQLExperience in Azure + AWS environments
