Patient Financial Services Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Financial Services Representative 4 - Insurance Follow Up. Key Responsibilities Ensures timely submission of clean claims and serves in place of the supervisor or manager when needed Resolves complex issues by coordinating with team members, Patient Accounts staff, and payers Documents account activity accurately and maintains knowledge of payer requirements and hospital policies Required Qualifications Education: Associate Degree or three additional years of relevant experience Experience: 3 years in revenue cycle, finance, customer service, or data analytics Expertise in Insurance Follow-Up Authorizations is highly preferred Proficiency in hospital billing systems and insurance verification portals Extensive understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial insurance policies
